Hi, my name is Jamie. And I have only just been enrolled. Started on the 7th July. And a bit overwhelmed by all that has to be done in 3 months. So I feel I am already behind haha. I don't work I just run a house hold of 6. 4 kids (2 school age) and a hubby who works full time.

How do you work through your assessments? Work until you have reached 100% of 1 and move on to the next. Or do a bit of every one?

Hi fellow students and all-round busy people  Very Happy Just in regards to completing everything 100% I have left most of mine at 97% because I don't even have a job/volunteer role yet in the industry (just obtained my WWC check actually argh !). Any tips to getting a volunteer role? ....I hope I've navigated my way round this forum i'm such a novice to anything like this. Thanks heaps to the person who started this up (very clever)  sunny

I have two at 97% and submitted one so far. I have the group activity one left and the aboriginal and torres straight islander one... and yes thanks for creating this! I wanted to suggest to them that they put an index in for the reading material so its easier to go back and search for what you are looking for. I hope they do it Smile

How much study do you do a day?
And when do you need to start the volunteer work, and is it just any volunteer work or actually in the youth work area?

I try to do at least an hour a day. In the student portal it tells you more about the volunteer work / vocational placement. I would start ASAP.

I try also to do at least an hour a day, sometimes more and sometimes less. I'm starting my vocational placement this week so I can get it all done.

Hi Smile

I am a mother of 7 with my youngest being 4 months old. I am currently so far behind and stressing about how I will get all of this done by the date required Sad

RE: the volunteer section, I could not find it either and had to email Kim to get it sent to me

it tells you how to go about but not really where to go. I work in a primary school and am doing mine there. You could try that...

Yeah it is tricky. I don't think my work will contribute. Might have to ask Kim to see what I can do.
